  • 12 schools ranked on highest SPF growth and schools with promising practices that we would like to learn more abuout to insprire student achievement in DPS.
  • Five selected self-nominated schools.

The three schools ranked highest on SPF Growth scores are invited to participate in EPIC as Tier 1 schools. If any of those schools choose not to participate, the invitation will be made to the next highest ranking SPF Growth score school.

The next 12 schools are those ranked highest on SPF and schools with promising practices that we would like to learn more about to improve student achievement. These schools are invited to participate in EPIC as Tier 2 schools. If any of those schools choose not to participate, the invitation will be made to the next highest ranking SPF Growth score school.

A total of 15 schools will be invited to participate in EPIC based on their SPF Growth scores, and the administrators of those schools may be eligible for the EPIC incentive.

If a school is not invited to participate in EPIC based on their SPF Growth scores, the school can self-nominate themselves to participate in EPIC. Five schools will be chosen as self-nominated schools.

Schools that self-nominate must completely fill out the application and return the application to the Director of Leadership Development by the deadline.

Applications for self-nominated participation in EPIC submitted by the deadline are reviewed by a group led by the Director of Leadership Development. This group selects five Self-Nominated Tier 2 schools to participate in EPIC, and the administrators of those schools may be eligible for the EPIC incentive.

Schools may be designated EPIC schools repeatedly.
